FAQ
How is this different from the paper discount cards we used to sell?
Memberships roll for a full year from each member's signup date, so there are no stale cards late in the season. Offers can be unlimited-use, one-time, or recurring (like once a month). Everything lives in a phone-ready app that's screenshot-resistant.
Can our members share a card with family?
Yes — family plans include up to four invited seats. The leader sends email invites and members join the plan. No more winks and looking the other way.
Do businesses need to install anything?
No. Members show an animated verification screen that includes their name and a live clock — a screenshot is obviously stale. The business just confirms and the deal is done. If a business wants to edit their own listing, they can have an account too.
What if a business thinks the card is fake or a screenshot?
Every member's verification screen includes a QR code. Have the business scan it with any phone camera — they're taken to a full-screen verified page that shows the member's name, organization, and a live countdown to when the code expires (five minutes). The QR is a short-lived, server-signed token that no screenshot can replicate — if it's invalid or stale, the verify page clearly shows "Not valid" on a red background. If the business doesn't have a smartphone handy, the live clock and animated gradient on the member's own card are also proof the screen isn't a static image.
How do you prevent people from sharing one account?
Every redemption logs an IP. When the system detects the same account being used from different locations in a short window, it flags it. Members see a gentle banner pushing them to a family plan; admins see repeat offenders.
What about payments?
Organizations can accept Stripe, PayPal, or both — admin's choice. Pricing is yours: you set the annual and family prices that work for your program.
